Fish oil (EPA/DHA omega-3-oil) - MOSH and MOAH (spiked)

The fish oil is spiked with a naphthenic process oil and a lubricant.

Spiked levels are:

• 20 mg/kg of total MOSH, and
• 9.8 mg/kg of total MOAH.

The unspiked raw material is available as blank material P2605-BLFo. The blank material contains 7.0 mg/kg of total MOSH and 1.7 mg/kg of total MOAH.

The specification of the reference material includes the comparability of results (z-score) as well as the trueness of results (70 to 120 % recovery of the spiked level).
Please note, the blank material P2605-BLFo is required to evaluate the reference material P2605-RMFo with respect to the trueness criterion. The difference between test material and blank material refers to the spiked level.
