Polar pesticides/contaminants in peppercorn (piper nigrum)

Ring test P2618-RT is designed to cover the most frequent polar pesticides (and contaminants) in peppercorn (piper nigrum). 

The test material consists of pepper (powder, 100 g), spiked with

• anthraquinone and biphenyl,
• chlorate and perchlorate,
• ethephon,
• phosphonic acid,
• nicotine,
• diquat and paraquat,
• difluoroacetic acid and trifluoroacetic acid, and
• 2-chloroethanol / ethylene oxide.

The basic module (anthraquinone, biphenyl, chlorate, perchlorate, ethephon, and phosphonic acid) is included in the price of the ring test. The participants are free to choose the additional modules nicotine (module 1), diquat and paraquat (module 2), DFA and TFA (module 3), and ethylene oxide (module 4). 

The analytical data are assessed with respect to

• the comparability (z-score), and
• the trueness (70 to 120% of the spiked level, as far as scientifically reasonable).
