Polar pesticides/contaminants in black tea

Ring test P2414-RT is designed to cover the most frequent polar pesticides and contaminants in black tea.

The test material consists of black tea (milled, 100 g), spiked with

anthraquinone,
biphenyl,
chlorate and perchlorate,
nicotine,
glyphosate and AMPA,
diquat and paraquat, and
matrine and oxymatrine.

The basic module (anthraquinone, biphenyl, chlorate, perchlorate, and nicotine) is included in the price of the ring test. The participants are free to choose the additional modules glyphosate and AMPA (module 1), diquat and paraquat (module 2), and matrine and oxymatrine (module 3).

The analytical data are assessed with respect to

the comparability (z-score), and
the trueness (70 to 120% of the spiked level, as far as scientifically reasonable).
