Collecting field samples

Collecting field samples – more than just a walk in the fields!

Your company has well-trained samplers and many years of experience in field sampling.
But how to proof the competence? Just join our new test!

Every sampling situation is unique and can present special challenges. The quality of the sampling depends heavily on the technical qualifications of the sampling personnel and their careful work regarding sampling and documentation.

Please find below more information related to the concept of the test:

Scenarios:
Two different scenarios for sampling in the field are offered.
The participants are asked to mentally run through the sampling process, document it in the sampling protocols used in their company, and answer questions about sampling.

Evaluation:
The evaluation is based on a points system that considers both the content of the sampling protocol and the answers to the additional questions.

More than just a report:
The test includes a webinar to exchange experiences after the proficiency test.

The evaluation takes into account the application of good professional practice and the requirements of the„ Commission Directive 2002/63/EC of July 11, 2002, establishing Community methods of sampling for the official control of pesticide residues in and on products of plant and animal origin" and DIN EN ISO 17025:2018 with regard to the documentation of sampling, provided that the participant is accredited for this.

Documentation in anonymized form as well as the answers related to the questionnaire are summarised in separate parts of the final report. For reasons of fairness, only those participants that agree to the publication of their detailed documentation will receive these parts of the report. The data will help to identify shortcomings, built the basis for further discussion and thus help to enhance the quality of the applied method.

A discount is granted for companies, which register more than one person for the test.

This ring test is not included in the scope of our accreditation yet. Independent from our scope of accreditation, all ring tests are organised and performed in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17043:2023.
