Non-homogenised chia seeds (200 g) are offered as test material of P2211-RT.
The chia seeds are spiked with
- chlorate and perchlorate,
- glyphosate,
- phosphonic acid,
- nicotine,
- diquat and paraquat,
- morpholine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine,
- a selection of quaternary ammonium compounds (BAC C-8 to C-18 and DDAC C-8 to C-12).
The aim of the ring test is
- the identification of the spiked quaternary ammonium compounds,
- the correct quantification with respect to the
comparability criterion (z-score ≤ |2|), and
- the correct quantification with respect to the
trueness criterion (70-120 % recovery of the spiked level).
Laboratories are free to choose the basic module only or combined with one or more of the additional modules.
Reporting limits of 0.01 mg/kg are required for all parameters.
